Summer may be in full swing in Europe, but our partners are still as active as ever in promoting the valuable work we are doing in INSPIRE!

The most recent example? Elizabeth Pollitzer, one of our colleagues from Portia, organised and chaired a session at the Intersectionality & Inclusion in Health conference that took place in Antwerp at the beginning of July. The session focused on multi-stakeholder cooperation for greater impact in advancing inclusion and intersectionality in research and innovation. We are very honoured to have been introduced there by our dear friend and Advisory Board member, Janice Bailey, the Scientific Director of Quebec Research Foundation, who recommended our Centre of Excellene as a way of fighting the good fight and moving forward in advancing inclusive gender equality.

The event, which this year marked its 20th edition, was organised by the European Society of Health and Medical Sociology at the University of Antwerp. It hosted scholars and researchers dealing with understanding the dynamics between health, society, and medicine, who took advantage of the opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and share snippets of their work with their peers.

We will be joining more events in autumn, so make sure to keep an eye on us if you want to see where we're headed next!
