INSPIRE KSH4: Innovation

The INSPIRE team is excited to invite you to one of its Knowledge & Support Hubs (KSH) events! This time, KSH4, dealing with gendered innovations in the private sector and led by our partners Fraunhofer ISI and Joanneum Research, is organising a kick-off event for its Communities of Practice.

Who are we looking for to join us in the event? We are reaching out to research and innovation companies in the fields of IT/Artificial Intelligence or Sustainability/Renewable Energies that want to focus their research and innovation processes on diversity. We aim at offering these companies a platform where they can exchange ideas and experiences and help create more knowledge. They will be supported throughout the way - we are facilitating interactions with experts on how to innovate while accounting for diversity (for instance, how to innovate for diverse customers or users and create knowledge on how to make innovation processes and products more inclusive).

The event will take place on 9 April 2024, it will last for 2 hours, between 10 and 12 AM (Central European Time), and it will be online. To participate, we kindly ask you to fill in a very short questionnaire here

Sustaining Progress on Gender Equality in Research Systems. An INSPIRE Interview with Dagmar Simon
Advancing gender equality in research and innovation is shaped by a combination of policy frameworks, institutional practices and wider societal developments. While many organisations have introduced strategies and action plans, their effectiveness depends on how well they are integrated into governance structures and everyday decision-making. At the same time, recent challenges to equality and diversity initiatives highlight the need to reinforce and sustain progress over the long term.
