WIGE - CoP

The WIGE CoP comprises 18 members located in Central, Southeast, and Eastern Europe, specifically in EU Widening and associated countries. Member organizations are in different stages of developing and implementing inclusive GEPs, and are more specifically focused on: data monitoring, preventing gender-based violence, fostering work-life balance and gender balance in leadership as well as integration of the sex/gender dimension in research and teaching.

Building Capacity and Looking Ahead: Updates from the WIGE Community of Practice

The final year of the project is very intensive for WIGE Community of Practice. WIGE brings together gender equality experts and researchers, mostly from Central and Eastern Europe, who share their experiences and good practices - particularly regarding diverse approaches to monitoring Gender equality plans (GEPs).

Building Foundations for Inclusive Gender Equality: Highlights from the IGEP Training

On 18 February 2025, an online training session on “How to Set Up an Inclusive Gender Equality Plan (IGEP)” brought together professionals committed to advancing gender equality within their organisations. The three-hour session provided participants with both conceptual understanding and practical guidance on designing and implementing Inclusive Gender Equality Plans.

GEP Monitoring and Evaluation Training in Kraków for the WIGE Community of Practice

On October 24th and 25th, the Institute of Sociology and the Department of Security, Safety and Equal Treatment at Jagiellonian University (JU) hosted a comprehensive training session on Monitoring and Evaluation of Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) in Kraków.
